குரூப் சி நிலை I மற்றும் நிலை II ஆகிய பிரிவுகளில் உள்ள சுமார் 90,000 காலியிடங்களுக்கு ரயில்வே தேர்வாணைய வாரியம் இணைய வழி விண்ணப்பங்களை வரவேற்கிறது. அனைத்துப் பிரிவுகளிலும் அதிகபட்ச வயது வரம்பு நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழ் உள்ளிட்ட பிராந்திய மொழிகளில் தேர்வெழுதும் வாய்ப்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது

மத்திய ரயில்வே அமைச்சகத்தில் குரூப் சி நிலை I (முன்னதாக குரூப் டி) மற்றும் நிலை II ஆகியவற்றில் உள்ள 89,409 காலியிடங்களுக்கு இணையதளம் மூலம் விண்ணப்பங்கள் வரவேற்கப்படுகின்றன. அனைத்துப் பிரிவுகளிலும் கீழ்காணும் அதிகபட்ச வயது வரம்பு நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

கல்வித் தகுதி

10 வகுப்பு அல்லது ஐடிஐ அல்லது அதற்கு சமமானதாக இருக்கும்.

இந்தத் தேர்வில் பங்கேற்பவர்கள் தமிழ், மலையாளம், கன்னடம், தெலுங்கு, ஒடிய, வங்காளம் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு பிராந்திய மொழிகளில் கேட்கப்படும் கேள்விகளுக்குப் பதில் அளித்துத் தேர்வுகளை எழுதலாம்.

Salary Details:
Pay Scale – Rs. 18,000/- (Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) plus allowances as admissible.

Application Fees:
Examination fees were levied to discourage non-serious candidates who applying and do not appear for the exam.
This would save the Railways substantial amount of resources spent on setting up infrastructure to enable candidates to appear for exams.
Examination fees for recruitment were fixed at Rs. 500/- for non-exempted candidates.
It is now decided that Rs. 400/- will be refunded to those candidates who appear for the exam. To enable refund of this amount, candidates will be required to submit details of their bank accounts online.
This facility will be executed shortly. Exempted categories like SC / ST / Divyang / Ex-servicemen / Women / Minorities / Economically Backward Classes will be charged Rs. 250/-. The whole of this amount will be refunded to those candidates from these categories who appear for the exam.
These fees will ensure only serious candidates appear.

ABOUT RRC:
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) vide their Letter No. E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18.07.2005 have delegated the powers of recruitment to Group ‘D’ posts to the General Managers. In pursuance to this, Railway Recruitment Cell was opened in Central Railway. The Railway Recruitment Cell has been entrusted with the responsibility to make recruitment to all Group ‘D’ posts from open market.
