1.The Tamil Nadu government has constituted an Economic Advisory Council to the Chief Minister to chart out a rapid and inclusive economic growth path for the State. The council will include Nobel laureate Esther Duflo of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), former Reserve Bank Governor Raghuram Rajan, former Chief Economic Advisor to the Centre, Aravind Subramanian, Development Economist Jean Dreze, and former Union Finance Secretary S. Narayan.

2.The Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the mYoga app on the occasion of the seventh International Day of Yoga. Developed jointly by the Ministry of Ayush and the World Health Organization (WHO), the mYoga app intends to provide yoga training and practice sessions of varying durations to laypersons and enthusiasts alike.
ஏழாவது சர்வதேச யோகா தின விழாவில் உரையாற்றிய இந்திய பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி அவர்கள், ‘எம்-யோகா’ செயலியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். இது ஆயுஷ் அமைச்சகம் மற்றும் உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு (WHO) இணைந்து உருவாக்கியதாகும். பொது யோகா செயல்முறையின் அடிப்படையிலான பல்வேறு யோகாபயிற்சிகள் மற்றும் செய்முறைகள் குறித்த காணொலிகளை பல மொழிகளில் இந்த செயலி வழங்கும்.
3.The Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawarchand Gehlot announced the setting up of five ‘Divyangta Khel Kendras’ (Disability Sports Centers) in different parts of the country.
நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் ஐந்து ‘திவ்யங்தா கேல் கேந்திராஸ்’ (மாற்றுத்திறனாளி விளையாட்டு மையங்கள்) அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளதாக மத்திய சமூக நீதி மற்றும் அதிகாரமளித்தல் துறை அமைச்சர் தாவர்சந்த் கெலோட் அவர்கள் அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
4.Bengaluru has been named as the most liveable city of India, in the Ease of Living Index 2020, released by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE). The Ease of Living Index 2020 is part of the report titled State of India’s Environment 2021. Bengaluru is followed by Chennai, Shimla, Bhubaneshwar, and Mumbai, as the top five best cities respectively.

5.The 7th International Yoga Day is observed on June 21, 2021. The first International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21, 2015. The theme for International Yoga Day 2021 is ‘Yoga for well-being’.
7வது சர்வதேச யோகா தினம் ஜூன் 21, 2021 அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. முதல் சர்வதேச யோகா தினம் ஜூன் 21, 2015 அன்று கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. சர்வதேச யோகா தினத்தின் 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான கருப்பொருள் ‘நல்வாழ்வுக்கான யோகா’ ஆகும்.
6.The United States Department of Energy (DOE), India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and the US India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) have jointly launched a US-India Hydrogen Task Force. This is under the US-India Strategic Clean Energy Partnership (SCEP).

7.World Refugee Day is observed by the United Nations every year on June 20. World Refugee Day was celebrated for the first time on June 20, 2001, on the 50th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention. This year the theme for World Refugee Day is ‘Together we heal, learn and shine’.
உலக அகதிகள் தினம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜூன் 20 அன்று ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையால் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. 1951 அகதிகள் மாநாட்டின் 50 வது ஆண்டு விழாவை குறிக்கும் வகையில் ஜூன் 20, 2001 அன்று முதன்முறையாக உலக அகதிகள் தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இந்த ஆண்டு உலக அகதிகள் தினத்தின் கருப்பொருள் ‘நாங்கள் ஒன்றாக குணமடைகிறோம், கற்றுக்கொள்கிறோம், பிரகாசிக்கிறோம்’ஆகும்.
