1.Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam, the programme to deliver essential healthcare at the doorstep of the people was launched by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin in Samanapalli village in Krishnagiri on August 5, 2021. The scheme was simultaneously launched in Thanjavur, Tiruchi, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Chennai, Salem and Madurai with a cumulative allocation of ₹258 crore and a targeted coverage of 30 lakh families and 1 crore population.
இந்தியாவிலேயே முதன்முறையாக, ‘மக்களைத் தேடி மருத்துவம்’ என்ற திட்டத்தைத் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு அறிவித்தது. இத்திட்டத்துக்காக ரூ.242 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது. இந்நிலையில், இத்திட்டத்தை ஆகஸ்டு 5, 2021 அன்று கிருஷ்ணகிரி மாவட்டம் சூளகிரி ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியத்தில் உள்ள சாமனப்பள்ளி கிராமத்தில் முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். கோவை, சென்னை, சேலம், மதுரை, தஞ்சாவூர், திருச்சி, திருநெல்வேலி ஆகிய 7 மாவட்டங்களிலும் காணொலிக்காட்சி வாயிலாக முதலமைச்சர் அவர்கள் தொடங்கிவைத்தார். இத்திட்டத்தின் முதற்கட்ட இலக்கான 30 இலட்சம் குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு கோடி மக்கள் பயன்பெறுவதன் மூலம், ஆண்டு இறுதியில் மாநில அளவில் ‘அனைவருக்கும் நலவாழ்வு’ என்ற உயரிய இலக்கை அடைய இந்தத் திட்டம் வழிவகுக்கும்.
2.The Tamil Nadu government has accepted the recommendations of Justice Murugesan Commission and decided to introduce a 7.5% horizontal reservation for government school students in admissions to professional courses such as engineering, agriculture, veterinary and fisheries.

3.The 2nd Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Conference on Range Technology (ICORT-2021) held virtually on August 05, 2021. The conference has been organised by Integrated Test Range (ITR) Chandipur, a laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). It was inaugurated by Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman DRDO Dr G Satheesh Reddy.
மின் மற்றும் மின்னணு பொறியாளர்கள் நிறுவனத்தின் (IEEE) 2வது பன்னாட்டு ரேஞ்ச் டெக்னாலஜி மாநாடு (ICORT-2021) ஆகஸ்ட் 05, 2021 அன்று நடந்தது. பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பின் ஆய்வகமான ஒருங்கிணைந்த டெஸ்ட் ரேஞ்ச் (ITR), சந்திப்பூர் இந்த மாநாட்டை ஏற்பாடு செய்தது. பாதுகாப்புத் துறை ஆராய்ச்சி & மேம்பாட்டுத் துறை செயலாளர் மற்றும் டிஆர்டிஓ அமைப்பின் தலைவர் டாக்டர் ஜி சதீஷ் ரெட்டி இதைத் தொடங்கி வைத்தனர்.
4.The Union Territory of Ladakh launched a month-long campaign- ‘Pani Maah’ (Water Month) to increase the pace of implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in the UT and to inform and engage village communities on the importance of clean water. ‘Pani Maah’ will run at the Block and Panchayat level in two phases.
லடாக் ஒன்றிய பகுதியில் ஜல் ஜீவன் மிஷன் திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்தும் வேகத்தை அதிகரிக்கவும், சுத்தமான குடிநீரின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை கிராம மக்களுக்கு தெரிவிக்கவும், அப்பகுதி நிர்வாகம் ‘பானி மா’ (நீர் மாதம்) என்கிற ஒரு மாத கால பிரச்சாரத்தை தொடங்கியுள்ளது. வட்டம் மற்றும் கிராமங்கள் அளவில் ‘பானி மா’ பிரச்சாரம் இரண்டு கட்டங்களாக நடக்கவுள்ளது.
5.Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on August 4, 2021 launched the country’s first earthquake early warning mobile application ‘Uttarakhand Bhookamp Alert’ developed by IIT Roorkee. The project was sponsored by the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA).
நிலநடுக்கத்தை முன்கூட்டியே கண்டறிந்து எச்சரிக்கும் ”உத்தர்காண்ட் பூகம்ப் அலர்ட்” என்ற செயலியை உத்தரகாண்ட் மாநில முதலமைச்சர் புஷ்கர் சிங் தாமி அவர்கள் ஆகஸ்ட் 4, 2021 அன்று தொடங்கிவைத்தார். இதை உத்தரகாண்ட் மாநில பேரிடர் மேலாண்மை ஆணையத்துடன், ரூர்கி ஐஐடி இணைந்து தயாரித்துள்ளது.
6.The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has constructed and completed black topping the world’s highest motorable road at Umling La in Eastern Ladakh located at an altitude of 19,300 ft, the Defence Ministry said on August 4, 2021.
எல்லைப்புறச் சாலைகள் அமைப்பு (BRO) கிழக்கு லடாக்கில் 19,300 அடி உயரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள உம்லிங் லாவில் உலகின் மிக உயரமான மோட்டார் சாலையை அமைத்து முடித்துள்ளது என்று பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகம் ஆகஸ்ட் 4, 2021 அன்று தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

7.Indian men’s hockey team won the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. It is the first Olympic medal win of Indian men’s hockey team in the last 41 years which they secured with a 5-4 win over Germany in the bronze medal match.
டோக்கியோ ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டியில் இந்திய ஆண்கள் ஹாக்கி அணி, 5-4 என்ற கோல் கணக்கில் ஜெர்மனியை வீழ்த்தி வெண்கலப் பதக்கம் வென்றது. இந்திய ஆண்கள் ஹாக்கி அணி 41 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு ஒலிம்பிக்கில் பதக்கம் பெற்றுள்ளது நினைவுகூறத்தக்கது.
8.Wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya won a silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics after losing to Russian two-time World Champion Zaur Uguev 4-7 in the men’s freestyle 57 kg final. He became the second male wrestler to win a silver for India in wrestling at the Olympics, after wrestler Sushil Kumar.
