1.The Tamil Nadu government has constituted green committees at the State and district levels to regulate the cutting and planting of trees in public lands and public offices following a Madras High Court directive. Environment, Climate Change and Forests Department Secretary Supriya Sahu will be the chairperson of the state committee.The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and head of the Forest Department will be the member secretary. The Secretaries of Industries, Rural Development, Municipal Administration, Revenue, Tourism, PWD, Highways and the DGP will be the members. The Collector will be the chairperson of the district committee, with the district forest officer as the member secretary.

அதேபோல், மாவட்ட அளவிலான பசுமை குழுக்கள் அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் தலைமையில் உருவாக்கப்படுகின்றன. இதில் மாவட்ட வருவாய் அலுவலர், மாவட்ட காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர், ஊரக வளர்ச்சி, நகராட்சி நிர்வாகம், வேளாண்மை, வருவாய், நெடுஞ்சாலை, பொதுப்பணி, அறநிலையம், தொழில்துறை உயர் அதிகாரிகள் அல்லது பிரதிநிதிகள், சமூக அமைப்புகளின் சார்பில் இரு வல்லுநர்கள் உறுப்பினர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். மாவட்ட வன அதிகாரி உறுப்பினர் செயலராக இருப்பார்.
2.Five more sportspersons from Tamil Nadu have qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, in addition to the seven who have already qualified. They are Revathi Veeramani, SubhaVenkatesan and S. Dhanalakshmi (4 x 400 m mixed relay) and Arokia Rajiv and Naganathan Pandi (4 x 400 m relay).

3.Recently, the Justice Department commemorated the milestone of crossing 9 lakh beneficiaries under its Tele-Law programme through Common Service Centres. It was launched by the Ministry of Law and Justice in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in 2017 to address cases at the pre–litigation stage.
