1. Bhavani Devi who became the first Indian fencer to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics was felicitated by Indian Fencing Association at a function organised on the premises of KIIT and KISS. Bhavani Devi who hails from Tamil Nadu is a student of KIIT.

2. The Centre for Atmospheric Sciences (CAS) of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will soon establish an atmospheric observatory at its Sonipat campus in Haryana to combat climate change and air pollution problems.

3. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated Shaheed Ashfaq Ulla Khan Zoological Park in Gorakhpur on March 27. This is the first zoo in Purvanchal and the third in the state.
