• Nagaland Police officially launched the ‘Call your Cop’ mobile App on November 29, 2021

• World’s tallest rail bridge pier will soon come up in North-eastern state of Manipur.This bridge is being constructed by Indian Railways at Noney Valley in Manipur. Bridge is having the height of 141 metres. It is a part of ambitious 111 Kilometre long Jiribam-Imphal railway line

• The Andhra Pradesh Government recently released Rs 686 crores for the Vidya Deevena Scheme. This is the third tranche of the scheme. It is an education assistance scheme.

The book was authored by Dr A. Surya Prakash.

• The Dam Safety Bill was introduced in Rajya Sabha. The bill aims to inspect, survey, maintain and operate dams in the country. Because mos t of the dams are more than 100 years old.
• அணை பாதுகாப்பு மசோதா மாநிலங்களவையில் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது. இந்த மசோதா நாட்டில் உள்ள அணைகளை ஆய்வு செய்தல், ஆய்வு செய்தல், பராமரித்தல் மற்றும் இயக்குவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. ஏனென்றால், பெரும்பாலான அணைகள் 100 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேல் பழமையானவை.
• The Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey recently replied to question in Lok Sabha that the Government of India has amended the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011. This was done to protect the interests of the consumers in the country.

• The Indian Athlete Anju Bobby George has won the Woman of the Year Award from World Athletics. She has won the award for grooming young girls to take up sports. 
• இந்திய தடகள வீராங்கனையான அஞ்சு பாபி ஜார்ஜ், உலக தடகளத்தில் ஆண்டின் சிறந்த பெண் விருதை வென்றுள்ளார். இளம் பெண்களை விளையாட்டுகளில் ஈடுபட வைப்பதற்காக அவர் விருதை வென்றுள்ளார்.
• Every year, International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on December 3 by the United Nations and several other organisations spread all over the world. This year the day is celebrated with the following theme Theme: “Leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-COVID-19 world”.

• Lok Sabha passes The Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Bill, 2020. The bill aims to provide for regulation of ART (Assisted Reproduction Technology). ART is used to treat infertility. In ART, the eggs are removed from woman’s body, mixed with sperm to form embryos. 
• மக்களவையில் உதவி இனப்பெருக்க தொழில்நுட்பம் (ஒழுங்குமுறை) மசோதா, 2020 நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது. இந்த மசோதா ART (உதவி இனப்பெருக்க தொழில்நுட்பம்) ஒழுங்குமுறைக்கு வழங்குவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. கருவுறாமை சிகிச்சைக்கு ART பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. • The resolution declaring January as ‘Tamil Heritage Month’ was unanimously passed in the London Assembly

• Sambit Patra has been appointed as the chairman of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. IAS officer, G. Kamala Vardhana Rao will hold the post of managing director of ITDC.

• Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal has inaugurated the 40th edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2021 at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.It was organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation with ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ as the theme and to further promote the idea of ‘Vocal for Local’.The Bihar pavilion won the 6th gold medal by showcasing the state’s art and cultural richness through handicrafts like Madhubani, Manjusha arts, terracotta, handlooms, and other indigenous products of the state at IITF 2021

• Reserve Bank of India (RBI) superseded the Board of Directors of Reliance Capital Ltd (RCL), a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), by exercising its power conferred under Section 45-IE (1) of the RBI Act, 1934. RCL is promoted by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani’s Reliance Group. In this regard, the apex bank has appointed Nageswar Rao Y (Ex-Executive Director, Bank of Maharashtra) as the Administrator of the company under Section 45-IE (2) of the RBI Act.

• The rating agency, India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) expects India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the Second Quarter of Financial Year-2022 (Q2 FY22) at 3 per cent and in FY22 at 9.4 per cent.
