1.Senior IPS officer C. Sylendra Babu took over as the Director General of Police/Head of the Police Force, Tamil Nadu, on June 30, 2021.

2.The Indian Navy has inked a pact with premier DPSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to develop emerging technologies related to artificial intelligence, quantum computing and robotics. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) provides for the setting up of a Technology Incubation Forum (ITF) to jointly work on developing new technologies.

3.The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Gambia on Refurbishing the Personnel Administration and Governance Reforms.
பணியாளர்கள் நிர்வாகம் மற்றும் ஆட்சிமுறை சீர்திருத்தங்களை புதுப்பிப்பது குறித்த காம்பியா நாட்டுடனான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் இந்தியா கையெழுத்திட பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான ஒன்றிய அமைச்சரவை ஒப்புதல் அளித்துள்ளது.
4.The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval for extending the terminal date for registration of beneficiaries for availing the benefit under Atma Nirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana (ABRY) for another nine months i.e. from 30th June 2021 to 31st March 2022.

5.The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the operation of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) in Nagaland for another six more months. It has also declared the state as a ‘disturbed area’.

6.June 30 is observed as the International Day of Parliamentarism every year. The Day was designated in 2018 by the United Nations General Assembly. It marks the day of the establishment of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the global organization of parliaments in 1889.
