1. The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, on January 11, said that the Tamil Nadu state government can consider increasing the ticket prices in cinema theatres across the state to make good the revenue loss suffered by theatre owners due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways & MSME Nitin Gadkari will be launching an innovative new paint developed by Khadi and Village Industries Commission on 12th January at his residence. The eco-friendly, non-toxic paint, called“Khadi Prakritik Paint” is a first-of-its-kind product, with antifungal, antibacterial properties. Based on cow dung as its main ingredient, the paint is cost-effective and odorless, and has been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
