1. The Tamil Nadu government has permitted jallikattu to be held across the State during the coming Pongal season. But the bull taming sport would be subject to fresh restrictions in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

தமிழக அரசு வரவிருக்கும் பொங்கல் பண்டிகையில் மாநிலம் முழுவதும் ஜல்லிக்கட்டு நடத்த அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது. மேலும், கோவிட் -19 தொற்றுநோயைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு ஜல்லிக்கட்டு புதிய கட்டுப்பாடுகளுக்கு நடத்தப்படும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

6. The Medium Range Surface to Air Missile, MRSAM – Army Version was recently tested  from Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, off the Coast of Odisha. It was jointly developed by the Defence Research development Organisation and the Israel Aerospace Industries.
