1.The Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department has issued an order directing colleges to reopen for all students from February 8. The order has said the colleges will function for six days.
வரும் 8ந்தேதி முதல் அனைத்து கல்லூரிகளும் திறக்கப்படும் நிலையில் வாரத்திற்கு 6 நாட்கள் வகுப்புகள் நடைபெறும் என்று உயர்கல்வித்துறை அறிவித்துள்ளது.

2.The Governor of Reserve Bank of India, Shaktikanta Das, has announced that the central bank will set up a 24*7 helpline platform in order to strengthen the digital payment services in India.
இந்தியாவில் டிஜிட்டல் கட்டண சேவைகளை வலுப்படுத்த ரிசர்வ் வங்கி 24 * 7 மொபைல் உதவி சேவையை அமைக்க உள்ளதாக இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் ஆளுநர் சக்திகாந்த தாஸ் அவர்கள் அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
3.The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Zomato under the Prime Minister Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM-SVANidhi) Scheme for empowering street food vendors with new digital technology and to provide greater income-earning opportunities on the food delivery platform.

4.The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has launched ‘Switch Delhi’, an electric vehicle mass awareness campaign, to sensitize citizens about the benefits of switching to electric vehicles on February 4, 2021.

5.The Union government has informed the Supreme Court that it is “agreeable” to give the UPSC aspirants, who appeared in the Civil Services Exam – 2020 as their “last permissible attempt” but are not age-barred, another crack at the exam in Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2020.
கடந்த ஆண்டு (2020) மத்திய குடிமைப் பணிகள் ஆணையம் நடத்திய ‘குடிமைப் பணிகள் முதல்நிலைத் தேர்வில்’ தோன்றிய தேர்வர்கள் அவர்களின் “கடைசி அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட வாய்ப்பில்” எழுதியவர்கள் என்றால் அவர்களுக்கு கூடுதலாக ஒரு வாய்ப்பு வழங்க ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதாக மத்திய அரசு உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தில் அறிவித்துள்ளது, ஆனால் அந்த வாயப்பை பெறவுள்ளவர்கள் தேர்வுக்கான வயது வரம்பு உள்ளவர்களாகவும், கடந்த (2020) முதல்நிலைத்தேர்வில் தேர்ச்சி அடையாதவர்களாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
6.The High-speed 4G internet services were restored on Friday in the whole of Jammu & Kashmir in view of the “overall security situation” in the Union territory. The Internet services across J&K were completely shut down on August 5, 2019 in the wake of the revocation of the special status of J&K and subsequently restored at 2G speed.
