For candidates with a Diploma or B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Lower height standard than the general SI post.

Notified 21 Aug 2025 · written examination held 9 Nov 2025 · pay scale ₹18,200–67,100. Answer keys, the CV-PMT-ET-PET eligibility list and call letters are now published by the board.
Direct Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors of Police (Taluk & Armed Reserve)
Notified 4 Apr 2025 · pay scale ₹36,900–1,16,600. The board has announced that the revised written examination result will be released shortly, following its clarification on the result published on 27 Jan 2026.

Departmental candidates write a 170-question, 85-mark paper in 180 minutes covering Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, Police Standing Orders and Police Administration.
