Headline: Maths on Day 3 Shift 1 was almost entirely arithmetic with very little advanced maths — no trigonometry was reported, and Algebra appeared for the first time in this exam cycle (it was explicitly absent on Day 2). Current affairs leaned on awards and shooting sports.

What this means for you: if you have been putting time into trigonometry and geometry, rebalance. Across all three days the paper has been arithmetic-heavy, and Day 3 Shift 1 pushed that further. Get your arithmetic speed up before your shift.

The same three question types have now carried the Reasoning section on all three days. If you drill only these before your shift, you cover most of the 30 marks.

Note: only Physics topics have been reported for this shift so far. Chemistry and Biology details will be added as more candidate feedback comes in — on Day 2 those two together carried about 20 of the 25 Science questions, so do not skip them.

06. What to Revise Before Your Shift
உங்கள் ஷிப்டுக்கு முன் எதைத் திரும்பப் படிக்க வேண்டும்
- Arithmetic, not advanced maths. Percentage, interest, profit & loss, average, time & work, pipes, speed–distance, statistics — the nine repeat topics above. Practise for speed, not difficulty; the questions have been formula-direct.உயர் கணிதம் அல்ல, எண்கணிதமே. மேலே உள்ள ஒன்பது தலைப்புகளை வேகத்திற்காகப் பயிற்சி செய்யுங்கள்; வினாக்கள் நேரடி சூத்திர அடிப்படையிலேயே இருக்கின்றன.
- Add basic algebra now. It appeared for the first time on Day 3 — cover simple linear equations and identities so it does not surprise you.அடிப்படை இயற்கணிதத்தையும் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். 3ஆம் நாள் முதன்முறையாக இடம்பெற்றது — எளிய நேரிய சமன்பாடுகள் மற்றும் முற்றொருமைகளைப் பாருங்கள்.
- Reasoning: three types only. Syllogism, seating/puzzle and coding–decoding have carried the section every day. - Current affairs: awards and sports.
