How to use this page

1. Read the day’s update the same day. Fifteen minutes is enough. Current affairs punishes backlogs more than any other subject — a week skipped takes three days to recover.அன்றைய பதிவை அன்றே படியுங்கள். பதினைந்து நிமிடம் போதும். நடப்பு நிகழ்வுகளில் தேங்கிய பாடம் மீட்பது கடினம்.
2. Sit the quiz before you close the tab. Recalling it once, the same evening, is worth more than reading it three times.வினாடி வினாவை உடனே எழுதுங்கள். ஒருமுறை நினைவிலிருந்து மீட்பது, மூன்று முறை படிப்பதைவிட மேலானது.
3. Keep a one-line note for anything with a name, number or date. Appointments, ranks, amounts and firsts are what the question is actually built on.பெயர், எண், தேதி வரும் இடங்களைக் குறித்து வையுங்கள். நியமனங்கள், தரவரிசைகள், தொகைகள், முதன்முறைச் சாதனைகள் — வினாக்கள் இவற்றிலிருந்தே.
4. Revise month-wise before the exam. Come back to the monthly compilations in the last fortnight rather than re-reading every day again.தேர்வுக்கு முன் மாதவாரியாக மீட்டுங்கள். கடைசி இரு வாரங்களில் மாதத் தொகுப்புகளைப் பயன்படுத்துங்கள்.

Is the material in Tamil or English?

Both. Each item is written in plain English with the Tamil directly beneath it, so Tamil-medium and English-medium candidates can use the same post.

How many months of current affairs should I prepare?

As a working rule, the twelve months before the exam date, with the six months closest to it revised hardest. Anything that became a scheme, an appointment or a record in that window is fair game.

பொது விதியாக, தேர்வுக்கு முந்தைய பன்னிரண்டு மாதங்கள்; அதில் கடைசி ஆறு மாதங்களை நன்கு மீட்டுங்கள். அந்தக் காலத்தில் வந்த திட்டங்கள், நியமனங்கள், சாதனைகள் அனைத்தும் வினாவாக வரலாம்.

Do the quizzes come with answers?

Yes. Every quiz carries the correct option and a short explanation, so a wrong answer teaches you something instead of just costing a mark.

Is this useful for exams other than TNPSC?

Yes. The same daily post is used by RRB, TNUSRB Police, TRB and TN Forest candidates. Tamil Nadu items are marked clearly, so candidates preparing for national exams can weight them accordingly.
