Paper I is a Tamil eligibility test and it is purely qualifying — but you cannot reach Paper II without clearing it. This is the only Tamil note in the official set.

Three files cover history end to end. The Tamil-medium வரலாறு file is the single biggest document in the whole set at 161 pages and spans ancient through modern; the two English-medium files split the same ground into Ancient and Modern.

Fourteen topics in one file, and it is unusually Tamil Nadu heavy — rainfall zones, cropping seasons and the state’s national parks each get their own section. That local weighting is exactly how TNUSRB asks geography.

This is the only subject in the whole set that was actually released chapter by chapter. Eight separate files, so you can revise one chapter at a time instead of opening a 40-page bundle.

Paper II gives 25 marks to this section and almost nobody prepares for it separately. Both files are worked-example driven — every question is solved with the reasoning written out, which is the only way this section actually gets easier.
