The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has released its Annual Planner for 2026–2027, listing six direct recruitments and the month in which each notification is expected. This is the schedule every TN Police aspirant should be planning around, so here it is in full — in English first, and in Tamil below.

What the planner means, month by month
December 2026 — two women-only recruitments
The planner opens with two recruitments reserved for women candidates: Grade-II Police Constables (Women) and Sub-Inspectors of Police (Women) — Taluk. Both notifications are expected in the same month, so women aspirants can prepare for the constable and the SI written papers together and decide which application to file once the vacancy figures are out.
February 2027 — Common Recruitment and SI (Technical)
Common Recruitment is the big one: a single notification that historically covers Grade-II Police Constable, Grade-II Jail Warder and Firemen posts through one written examination. Sub-Inspectors (Technical) is notified in the same month and is a separate, qualification-specific recruitment.
March 2027 — Band Police Constables
A small, specialised recruitment for the police band, notified on its own.
June 2027 — Sub-Inspectors of Police
The open Sub-Inspector recruitment closes the planner year.
How to use this planner
- Work backwards from the notification month. A December 2026 notification means the written exam usually follows within a few months — your syllabus revision should be finished, not started, by then.
- Physical standards take the longest to build. Endurance and measurement standards cannot be crammed; start the physical preparation the moment a recruitment on this list applies to you.
- Two notifications in one month means one choice. December 2026 and February 2027 each carry two recruitments — read both notifications carefully before you pay a fee.

தமிழ்நாடு சீருடைப் பணியாளர் தேர்வு வாரியம் (TNUSRB) 2026 – 2027ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான தேர்வுகளின் ஆண்டுத் திட்டத்தை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. ஆறு நேரடித் தேர்வுகளுக்கான தற்காலிக அறிவிக்கைத் தேதிகள் கீழே தரப்பட்டுள்ளன.

கவனிக்க: மேலே உள்ளவை அறிவிக்கை வெளியிடப்படும் மாதங்கள் ஆகும்; தேர்வு நடைபெறும் தேதிகள் அல்ல. ஒவ்வொரு அறிவிக்கையிலும் எழுத்துத் தேர்வுக்கான தேதி தனியாக அறிவிக்கப்படும். ஆண்டுத் திட்டத்தில் தரப்பட்டுள்ள தேதிகள் தற்காலிகமானவை; மாற்றம் பெறலாம்.
மாதவாரியாக என்ன நடக்கும்
டிசம்பர் 2026 — பெண்களுக்கான இரு தேர்வுகள். இரண்டாம் நிலை காவலர்கள் (பெண்கள்) மற்றும் சார்பு ஆய்வாளர்கள் (பெண்கள்) – தாலுகா ஆகிய இரு அறிவிக்கைகளும் ஒரே மாதத்தில் வெளிவரும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
பிப்ரவரி 2027 — பொது தேர்வும் தொழில்நுட்பச் சார்பு ஆய்வாளர் தேர்வும். பொது தேர்வு என்பது காவலர் நிலைப் பதவிகளுக்கு ஒரே அறிவிக்கையில் நடத்தப்படும் தேர்வாகும்.
மார்ச் 2027 — இசைக்குழு காவலர்கள். தனி அறிவிக்கையாக வெளியிடப்படும்.
ஜூன் 2027 — காவல் சார்பு ஆய்வாளர்கள். ஆண்டுத் திட்டத்தின் இறுதித் தேர்வு இதுவே.
இதை எப்படிப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்
- அறிவிக்கை மாதத்திலிருந்து பின்னோக்கித் திட்டமிடுங்கள். டிசம்பர் 2026 அறிவிக்கை என்றால், அதற்கு முன்பே பாடத்திட்டத்தை முடித்துத் திருப்பிப் படிக்கத் தொடங்கியிருக்க வேண்டும்.
- உடற்தகுதித் தேர்வுக்கான பயிற்சி நீண்ட காலம் எடுக்கும். ஓட்டம் மற்றும் உடல் அளவீட்டுத் தகுதிகளை இறுதி நேரத்தில் அடைய முடியாது; இப்போதே தொடங்குங்கள்.
