1.A three day defence expo, which will see the participation of more than 400 micro, small,and medium enterprises (MSMEs), will be held between March 19 and 21 at the Chennai Trade Centre. The expo is being organised by Swatantra Foundation, a Chennai based policy research and advocacy institution, and the Aerospace Industry Development Association of Tamil Nadu (AIDAT).
400 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மைக்ரோ, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர நிறுவனங்கள் (MSME) பங்கேற்கும் மூன்று நாள் பாதுகாப்பு கண்காட்சி மார்ச் 19 முதல் 21 வரை சென்னை வர்த்தக மையத்தில் நடைபெறுகிறது. இந்த கண்காட்சியை சென்னையை சேர்ந்த கொள்கை ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனமான ஸ்வாதந்திர அறக்கட்டளை மற்றும் தமிழகத்தின் விண்வெளி தொழில் மேம்பாட்டு சங்கம் (AIDAT) ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ளன.
2.The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami handed over a cheque of ₹75 lakh to the organisers of the Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) on February 4. The 18th edition of the film festival is scheduled to be held from February 18 to 25, 2021.
தமிழக முதல்வர் எடப்பாடி கே.பழனிசாமி அவர்கள் பிப்ரவரி 4 ஆம் தேதி சென்னை சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாவின் (CIFF) அமைப்பாளர்களுக்கு 75 லட்சம் ரூபாய் மதிப்பிலான காசோலையை வழங்கினார். சென்னை சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாவின் 18 வது பதிப்பு சென்னையில் பிப்ரவரி 18 முதல் 25 வரை நடைபெற உள்ளது.

3.The Government has launched a campaign namely Kalam Program for Intellectual Property Literacy and Awareness Campaign (KAPILA) for Intellectual Property Literacy and creating patent awareness on 15th October, 2020.

4.The 13th edition of Aero India 2021, Asia’s largest Aerospace and Defence Exhibition is being held at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bengaluru between February 03-05, 2021. Aero India is a biennial air show and aviation exhibition. It is organised by the Defence Exhibition Organisation, Ministry of Defence. The first edition of the air show was held in 1996.

5.Indian Navy conducted a seminar on Building Collective Maritime Competence towards Security and Growth for All in the Region (SAGAR) on 4th February, 2021, during the ongoing Aero India 2021.

6.The Indian Ocean Region Defence Ministers’ Conclave was hosted by India on February 4, 2021. The event took place in the backdrop of Aero India 2021. The theme of the Indian Ocean Region Defence Ministers’ Conclave is ‘Enhanced Peace, Security, and Cooperation in the Indian Ocean’.
இந்தியப் பெருங்கடல் பிராந்திய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர்களின் மாநாட்டை பிப்ரவரி 4, 2021 அன்று இந்தியா நடத்தியது. இந்த நிகழ்வு ‘ஏரோ இந்தியா 2021’ இன் ஒரு பகுதியாக நடந்தது. ‘இந்தியப் பெருங்கடல் பிராந்திய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர்களின் மாநாட்டின்’ மையப்பொருள் ‘இந்தியப் பெருங்கடலில் – மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட அமைதி, பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் ஒத்துழைப்பு’.
7.India slipped two places to 53rd position in the 2020 Democracy Index’s global ranking, according to The Economist Intelligence Unit, which said the “democratic backsliding” by authorities and “crackdowns” on civil liberties has led to a further decline in the country’s ranking. Out of 167 countries, the Democracy Index classifies 23 countries as full democracies, 52 as flawed democracies, 35 as hybrid regimes and 57 as authoritarian regimes. India has been classified as a ‘flawed democracy’ along with countries such as the US, France, Belgium and Brazil. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and the 5th ranks have been secured by Norway, Iceland, Sweden, New Zealand and Canada respectively in the index.
