1.The Chief Minister Edappadi K.Palaniswami has announced that the birth anniversary of Lord Murugan’s devotee and spiritual teacher Kirupananda Variyar will be celebrated as a State event. Kirupananda Variyar was born on August 25, 1906, in Kangeyanallur in Vellore. He started giving religious discourses at a very young age. He is respected as 64th Nayanmar.
புகழ்பெற்ற ஆன்மிக பேச்சாளர் கிருபானந்த வாரியரின் பிறந்த நாள் அரசு விழாவாக கொண்டாடப்படும் என முதல்வர் இபிஎஸ் அறிவித்துள்ளார். வாரியார் சுவாமிகள் என அன்புடன் குறிப்பிடப்படும் கிருபானந்த வாரியர், முருகன் மீது அளவற்ற பக்தி கொண்டவர். வார்த்தைக்கு வார்த்தை முருகன் பெயரை உச்சரித்தவர். அதனால் “திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியர்” என்றும் அவர் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டார். 64 ஆவது நாயன்மார் என மதிக்கப்படும் கிருபானந்த வாரியர் வேலூர் அடுத்த காங்கேய நல்லூரில் 1906 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 25 ஆம் தேதி பிறந்தார். 1993 நவம்பர் 7 ல் 87 ஆவது வயதில் முருகனடி சேர்ந்தார்.
2.The Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora along with Election Commissioners Sushil Chandra and Rajiv Kumar on 10th February 2021 met with District officials at Chennai to review poll preparedness for forthcoming Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu. The ECI officials also held meetings with representatives of recognized political parties in Tamil Nadu.

3.The Cuddalore police, in association with NLC India Ltd., has rolled out a mobile app aimed at redressal of grievances among all ranks in Police. The mobile app ‘Connect’ was developed in-house by NLC and the entire cost was borne by them.
