1.The replicas of the Pallava era monuments at Mamallapuram Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance and Nakula Sahadeva Ratha will form part of Tamil Nadu’s tableau at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi, which was finalised after eightrounds of selection by the Defence Ministry.

2.The National Girl Child Day is celebrated every year on 24th January. The day is an initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
