1. The Ola Electric Mobility will open an electric two wheeler manufacturing unit at Hosur on an investment of ₹2,354 crore.

கால் டாக்ஸி நிறுவனமான ஓலா, எடெர்கோ எனும் நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய எலக்ட்ரிக் ஸ்கூட்டர் தயாரிப்பு தொழிற்சாலையை ஓசூரில் அமைக்க திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது. அதன்படி, ஓசூரில் 2 ஆயிரத்து 354 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பில் புதிய தொழிற்சாலை அமைப்பதற்கான ஒப்பந்தம், முதலமைச்சர் எடப்பாடி பழனிசாமி முன்னிலையில் கையெழுத்தானது.

2. The Chief Minister has signed a deal with Torrent Gas Chennai Pvt.Ltd., which will be setting up a gas distribution network in Chennai and Thiruvallur districts.

3. The Quality Council of India (QCI) at the behest of the FSSAI has come out with a Scheme for approval of Hygiene Rating Audit Agencies to scale up Hygiene Rating by increasing the number of recognised Hygiene Rating Audit Agencies in the country. The recognised Hygiene Rating Audit Agencies will be responsible for verifying the compliance with food hygiene and safety procedures laid by FSSAI and get Hygiene Rating.

4. The FSSAI’s initiative of ‘Food Hygiene Rating Scheme’ is a certification system for food businesses supplying food directly to consumers, either on or off premise. The food establishments are rated based on food hygiene and safety conditions observed at the time of audit. The hygiene rating will be in the form of smileys (1 up to 5) and the certificate should be displayed prominently in the consumer facing area.

5. During a webinar on `Science Communication through Social Media during Pandemic Times’ organised by the Press Information Bureau, Dr. TV. 7. The Postal Department has signed an MOU with CSC SPV to provide a one-stop solution for all e-Governance services on assisted model through its “Common Service Centres(PO-CSCs)” in Post Offices.

The COVID Vaccine Intelligence Network (CoWIN) system, a digitised platform,will be used to track the enlisted beneficiaries and the COVID19 vaccines on a real time basis, according to the COVID operational guidelines released by the Health Ministry recently. The guidelines said the latest electoral roll for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be used to identify the priority population over the age of 50.
