1. The Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot inaugurated an “ADIP camp to provide Aids & Assistive devices to 1398 Divyangjan of Pudukottai, Tamil Nadu” online through video conference.

1. Cyclone Alert for Tamilnadu and Puducherry coasts – Yellow Alert: The first cyclonic storm of this year’s northeast monsoon is very likely to cross Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts between Karaikal and Mamallapuram around Puducherry during 25th November 2020 evening as a severe cyclonic storm with a wind speed of 100-110 kmph gusting to 120 kmph. To be named ‘Nivar’, as suggested by Iran, according to the list prepared by the World Meteorological Organisation. Deep Depression intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “NIVAR” over southwest Bay of Bengal.

1. The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR) and the Uttar Pradesh Forest department have bagged the first-ever international award, TX2, for doubling the number of tigers in four years against a target of 10 years. PTR was the first to receive the award among 13 tiger range countries. It achieved this goal in just four years from 2014, when it had 25 tigers which went up to 65 in 2018.

1. The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, will visit Gujarat (Kevadia) on November 25, 2020 to inaugurate the 80th All India Presiding Officers’ Conference. The two-day Conference is being organized by the Lok Sabha to celebrate the Constitution Day.

 

80 வது அகில இந்திய தலைமை அலுவலர்கள் மாநாட்டை இந்தியாவின் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த் நவம்பர் 25, 2020 அன்று தொடங்கி வைப்பார். அரசியலமைப்பு தினத்தை கொண்டாடும் விதமாக மக்களவையால் இரண்டு நாள் மாநாடு ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

1. The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) wants to expedite the environmental appraisal of industrial projects. These appraisals, as per norms, are conducted by independent panels of experts that have representatives from the government as well as from outside, trained in matters of ecology, wildlife and habitat preservation.
