1.The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has been ranked as one among the top 12 institutions of India in engineering and technology and within the top 450 Universities in the world, as per QS World Subject Rankings, 2021.
தமிழ்நாட்டின் வேலூர் இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் டெக்னாலஜி (VIT) 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டின் QS உலக பாடநெறி தரவரிசையில், பொறியியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் இந்தியாவின் முதல் 12 நிறுவனங்களில் ஒன்றாகவும், உலகின் சிறந்த 450 பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் ஒன்றாகவும் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளது.
2.The Election Commission (EC) has decided to issue a ‘voter information slip’ instead of a ‘photo voter slip’ for the upcoming assembly election, Chief Electoral Officer Satyabrata Sahoo said on March 4.

3.March 4 is observed every year as National Safety Day in India. This year, the focus of National Safety Day is on road safety and the theme is ‘Sadak Suraksha’ (road safety).

5.The Delimitation Commission, a panel for redrawing the parliamentary and Assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir, has got a one-year extension. The panel, headed by retired Supreme Court judge Ranjana Prakash Desai, came into existence in October, 2019.
