1. The State Government has posted Director General of Police Pradeep V. Philip as Director of Tamil Nadu Police Academy in Oonamanchery. He was earlier DGP of Crime Branch CID.

2. K P Sharma Oli was sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal for the third time on May 14, 2021. The President of Nepal Bidya Devi Bhandari administered his oath of office. He was re-appointed as the Prime Minister as the opposition couldn’t prove their majority.
