1.The 10-member Justice D. Murugesan Commission, which was formed on June 15, to study the representation of government school students in technical education, submitted its report to the Chief Minister M K Stalin, at the Secretariat, on July 20, 2021.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் பொறியியல் உள்ளிட்ட தொழிற்கல்வி படிப்புகளில் அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் சேர்க்கை அளவை ஆய்வு செய்து பரிந்துரை வழங்குவற்காக, ஓய்வுபெற்ற டெல்லி உயர்நீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதி த.முருகேசன் அவர்கள் தலைமையில் 10 பேர் கொண்ட ஆணையம் ஒன்று கடந்த ஜூன் 15-ம் தேதி அமைக்கப்பட்டது. இதற்கான ஆய்வு நிறைவடைந்த நிலையில், ஜூலை 20, 2021 அன்று சென்னை தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில் முதலமைச்சர் திரு மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அவர்களை சந்தித்து நீதிபதி முருகேசன் அவர்கள் அறிக்கையை சமர்ப்பித்தார்.
2.The Higher Education Minister K.Ponmudi said on July 20, 2021 that Annamalai University, a unitary institution, would be converted into an affiliating university. Colleges in Villupuram, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi and Mayiladuthurai, including Dr. J.Jayalalithaa University (Villupuram), will be affiliated to Annamalai University.
தற்போது தனிப் பல்கலைக்கழகமாக இயங்கும் அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகத்துடன் விழுப்புரம், கடலூர், கள்ளக்குறிச்சி, மயிலாடுதுறை ஆகிய 4 மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள கல்லூரிகளை இணைத்து அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகம் இணைப்பு பல்கலைக்கழகமாக மாற்றப்படும் என உயர்க்கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் திரு க.பொன்முடி அவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். மேலும், விழுப்புரத்தில் தொடங்கப்பட்ட ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா பல்கலைக்கழகம் அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகத்துடன் இணைக்கப்படும் என்றும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
3.The Public Health Department of Tiruvallur District has introduced a doorstep healthcare service for the physically challenged and bed-ridden people. The scheme has been named ‘Neyam’ and was launched by Minister for Milk and Dairy Development SM Nasar, along with Collector Dr. Alby John.
நடமாட முடியாமல் படுக்கையில் உள்ள நோயாளிகளின் வீடுகளுக்கே நேரில் சென்று சிகிச்சை அளிக்கும் நடமாடும் மருத்துவ வாகன திட்டத்தை திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்ட பொது சுகாதாரத் துறை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. ‘நேயம்’ என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ள இத்திட்டத்தை பால்வளத் துறை அமைச்சர் திரு சா.மு.நாசர் அவர்கள் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் திரு ஆல்பி ஜான் அவர்கள் உடன் இருந்தார்.
4.The Tamil Nadu government on July 20 organised an Investors Conclave in which 35 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were exchanged with a cumulative investment of Rs 17,141 crore which would provide employment opportunities for 55,054 people. On the occasion, the Chief Minister M K Stalin laid the foundation for nine projects with an investment commitment of Rs 4,250 crore and employment opportunities for 21,630 people. Besides, the Chief Minister also inaugurated five projects with an investment commitment of Rs 7,117 crore and job opportunities for 6,798 people. The total investment committed in the above 49 projects is Rs. 28,508 crores and employment opportunities to 83,482 persons.
சென்னை கிண்டியில் தொழில்துறை சார்பில் ‘முதலீட்டாளர்களின் முதல் முகவரி – தமிழ்நாடு’ என்கிற விழா நடைபெற்றது. இதில் 17,141 ரூபாய் முதலீட்டில் 55,054 பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்கும் வகையில் 35 தொழில் திட்டங்களுக்கு முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் முன்னிலையில் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையொப்பமிடப்பட்டன. 4,250 ரூபாய் முதலீட்டில் 21, 630 பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்கும் வகையில் 9 தொழில் திட்டங்களுக்கு முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அடிக்கல் நாட்டினார். 7,117 கோடி ரூபாய் முதலீட்டில் 6,798 பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்கும் வகையில் 5 திட்டங்களின் வணிக உற்பத்தியை முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தொடக்கி வைத்தார். ஆகவே, மொத்தம் 28,508 கோடி ரூபாய் முதலீட்டில் 49 தொழில் திட்டங்கள் மூலம் 83,482 பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் உருவாக்கப்படவுள்ளது.
5.The Chief Minister launched the Single Window Portal 2.0 of Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau (TNIGEPB). It is provided with over 100 services spread across 24 departments for existing and new investors in a fully digitalised manner.
தமிழ்நாடு தொழில் வழிகாட்டி நிறுவனத்தின் மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட ஒற்றைச் சாளர இணையத்தளம் 2.0 ஐ முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் தொடக்கி வைத்தார். தற்போதுள்ள முதலீட்டாளர்களுக்கு மட்டுமின்றிப் புதிய முதலீட்டாளர்களுக்கும் உதவும் வகையில் நூற்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட சேவைகள் இந்த இணையத்தளத்தில் டிஜிட்டல் மயமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
6.Guidance Tamil Nadu entered into an MoU with the American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association to promote start-ups in the fields of innovation, research and development in Tamil Nadu. The state government has sanctioned Rs 5 crore for this programme.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் முதலீடு செய்து, செயல்படும் புதுத்தொழில் நிறுவனங்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்காக தமிழ்நாடு தொழில் வழிகாட்டி நிறுவனம், அமெரிக்க தமிழ் தொழில் முனைவோர் சங்கத்துடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் ஒன்று மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது. இந்த திட்டத்திற்காக மாநில அரசு சார்பில் ரூ .5 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
7.General Electric Company has proposed to establish a Centre of Excellence for the development of aircraft and aeronautical components to enhance the production for industries in the aerospace and defence sector using advanced manufacturing technologies. A MoU was signed between General Electric Company and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) at the Investors Conclave in the presence of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.

8.The Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar has developed a first-of-its-kind Oxygen Rationing Device – AMLEX to increase the life of medical oxygen cylinders three fold. This process saves oxygen which otherwise unnecessarily gets wasted.

9.The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has formulated a scheme “SMILE – Support for Marginalized Individuals for Livelihood and Enterprise”, which includes a subscheme – ‘Central Sector Scheme for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of persons engaged in the act of Begging’. This scheme covers several comprehensive measures including welfare measures for persons who are engaged in the act of begging.
