1.The Health Department has arranged to administer vaccines to members of the public aged above 60 and those over 45 with comorbidities beginning March 1. The Government of India on February 25 already announced that the second-phase of COVID-19 vaccination programme begins on March 1.
தமிழகத்தில் 60 வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்டவர்கள், 45 முதல் 60 வயது வரை கூட்டு நோய் உள்ளவர்கள் என 1.60 கோடி பேருக்கு மார்ச் 1-ம் தேதி முதல் கரோனா தடுப்பூசி போடப்படவுள்ளதாக சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சர் சி.விஜயபாஸ்கர் அவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். கோவிட் -19 தடுப்பூசி இயக்கத்தின் இரண்டாம் கட்டம் மார்ச் 1 முதல் தொடங்கும் என்று மத்திய அரசு பிப்ரவரி 25 அன்று அறிவித்திருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
2.The Madras High Court on February 27 directed the State government to not take any decision till April 5 on an inquiry report, if any, filed by a Commission of Inquiry (CoI) constituted against Anna University Vice Chancellor M.K.Surappa. The objective of the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) under retired High Court judge P.Kalaiyarasan is to probe charges of bribery, corruption, malpractice, financial irregularities, irregular appointments and so on.
