1.The Kilpauk water works, the Chennai city’s first water treatment plant, will soon house a water museum on its sprawling premises.

சென்னை நகரத்தின் முதல் நீர் சுத்திகரிப்பு நிலையமான கில்பாக்கம் நீர் பணிகள் விரைவில் அதன் வளாகத்தில் ஒரு நீர் அருங்காட்சியகத்தை அமைக்கவிருக்கிறது.

2.A new species of fruit fly discovered in Coimbatore district is named after Siruvani, an ecological hotspot in the Western Ghats. The fruit fly Euphranta siruvani, of the family Tephritidae, was identified by researchers in a nonforest area near Siruvani.

கோயம்புத்தூர் மாவட்டத்தில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு புதிய இன ‘ஃபூரூட் ஃப்ளை’விற்கு மேற்குத் தொடர்ச்சி மலையில் உள்ள சூழலியல் இடமான சிறுவாணி என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. டெஃப்ரிடிடே குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஃபூரூட் ஃப்ளை என்றும் கண்டறியப்பட்டுள்ளது.

3.A six year study conducted by The Nature and Butterfly Society (TNBS) has identified Siruvani hills in Coimbatore district as a butterfly super hotspot.
