1. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has released the electoral roll for the upcoming assembly election in the state of Tamil Nadu. The total number of electorate in the state stands at 6.26 crore, out of which 3.18 crore eligible voters are women, 3.08 crore are men, while the number of transgender voters is 7200. With 6,94,845 electors, the Shozhinganallur Assembly constituency in Chengalpattu district has the highest number of eligible voters listed, according to the electoral rolls published. On the other hand, the lowest number of electors was seen at the Harbour Assembly constituency in Chennai with just 1,76,272 electors. District wise, Chennai district has the highest number of voters and Ariyalur district has the lowest number of voters.

தமிழகத்தில் இறுதி வாக்காளர் பட்டியல் வெளியிடபட்டுள்ளது, இறுதி வாக்காளர் பட்டியல் குறித்த விவரங்களை தமிழக தலைமை தேர்தல் அதிகாரி சத்ய பிரதா சாஹு வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். அதன்படி தமிழகத்தில் மொத்தம் 6,26,74,446  வாக்காளர்கள் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளனர். தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள 234 தொகுதிகளில் செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டத்துக்குட்பட்ட சோழிங்கநல்லூர் தொகுதியில் அதிக வாக்காளர்கள் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளனர். இந்த தொகுதியில் மொத்தம்  694845 வாக்காளர்கள் உள்ளனர். குறைந்த வாக்காளர்கள் கொண்ட தொகுதியாக சென்னை மாவட்டத்துக்குட்பட்ட துறைமுகம் தொகுதி உள்ளது. இந்த தொகுதியில் மொத்தமே 176272 பேர் மட்டுமே உள்ளனர். மாவட்ட வாரியாக பார்க்கும் பொழுது அதிக வாக்காளர்கள் கொண்ட மாவட்டமாக சென்னை மாவட்டமும் குறைந்த வாக்காளர்கள் கொண்ட மாவட்டமாக அரியலூர் மாவட்டமும் உள்ளது.

2. In the second edition of the India Innovation Index-2020 released by NITI Aayog, the States and Union Territories have been divided into 17 Major States, 10 North-East and Hill States and nine Union Territories and Small States for effectively comparing their performance. In the 2020 ranking, Karnataka retained its first position in the Major States category. Maharashtra moved one position higher and stood at 2nd spot while Tamil Nadu slid to 3rd position. In the North East and Hill States category, Himachal Pradesh stands at first position followed by Uttarakhand and Manipur. Delhi stands at the first position while Chandigarh retained its second spot in the Union Territories and small States category.

3. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has unveiled a regulatory compliance portal that will act as a bridge for citizens, industries and the government to minimise burdensome compliances.
