1. The Tamil Nadu government has appointed retired Madras High Court judge P.Kalaiyarasan as the inquiry officer to go into complaints of financial and administrative irregularities levelled by certain individuals against Anna University Vice Chancellor M.K. Surappa.

1.India successfully test fired the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile system off the coast of Balasore on Friday. The Missile hit its target directly during the test.

1.November 13, 2020 is the fifth National Ayurveda Day marked on Dhanteras, that is, Dhanwantri Jayanti. Dhanwantri is a Hindu god of medicines. This year the day is marked under the theme Theme: Ayurveda for COVID-19.
தன்வந்திரி ஜெயந்தியான நவம்பர் 13ம் தேதி தேசிய ஆயுர்வேத தினம் கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. 2016ம் ஆண்டு முதல் மத்திய ஆயுஷ் அமைச்சகம் ஆயுர்வேத தினத்தை கொண்டாடி வருகிறது. அவ்வகையில் இன்று ஐந்தாவது ஆயுர்வேத தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இந்த ஆண்டு COVID-19 க்கான ஆயுர்வேதம் என்ற கருப்பொருளின் கீழ் நாள் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
1.WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesusmade the announcement in a video message at the eventim which Prime Minister Modi dedicated two futureready Ayurvedic institutions in Jaipur and Jamnagar to the nation via video conferencing on the occasion of the 5th Ayurveda Day. The Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Jamnagar (Gujarat), and the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur (Rajasthan), are both premier institutions of Ayurveda.
