• Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch first ever National Infrastructure Masterplan called “Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti”. This masterplan will be launched on October 13, 2021. Gati Shakti scheme was announced by PM Modi on Independence Day, 2021.

• பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி “பிரதான் மந்திரி கதி சக்தி” என்ற தேசிய உள்கட்டமைப்பு மாஸ்டர்பிளானை முதன்முதலில் தொடங்க உள்ளார். இந்த மாஸ்டர் பிளான் அக்டோபர் 13, 2021 அன்று தொடங்கப்படும். கதி சக்தி திட்டம் 2021 சுதந்திர தினத்தன்று பிரதமர் மோடியால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.

• Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Parshottam Rupala, launched the River Ranching Programme on October 8, 2021. The programme was launched at Brijghat, Garh Mukteshwar, Uttar Pradesh . River ranching programme was introduced as special activity under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) scheme

• மத்திய மீன்வளம், கால்நடை பராமரிப்புத்துறை அமைச்சர் பர்ஷோத்தம் ருபாலா, அக்டோபர் 8, 2021 அன்று நதி வளர்ப்புத் திட்டத்தைத் தொடங்கினார். இந்தத் திட்டம் உத்தரப் பிரதேசத்தின் கர் முக்தேஷ்வரில் உள்ள பிரிஜ்காட்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. ‘பிரதான் மந்திரி மத்ஸ்ய சம்பதா யோஜனா (PMMSY) திட்டத்தின் கீழ் சிறப்பு நடவடிக்கையாக நதி வளர்ப்பு திட்டம் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
• Navies of India, US, Japan and Australia to conduct 2nd phase of Maritime Exercise Malabar in Bay of Bengal from Oct 12 to 15

• Germany launches the world’s first self – driving train. The self-driving train was launched in the city of Hamburg.

• உலகின் முதல் சுயமாக ஓட்டும் ரயிலை ஜெர்மனி தொடங்கியுள்ளது. ஹாம்பர்க் நகரில் சுயமாக ஓட்டும் ரயில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது
• The traditional dye-painted figurative called Karuppur Kalamkari Paintings, and Kallakuruchi wood carvings have received the Geographical Indication (GI) tag.

• The Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, Rajiv Kumar, launched the “NITI Aayog – United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Handbook on Sustainable Urban Plastic Waste Management” on October 12, 2021.
• NITI ஆயோக்கின் துணைத் தலைவர் ராஜீவ் குமார், அக்டோபர் 12, 2021 அன்று “நிதி ஆயோக் – ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் வளர்ச்சித் திட்டம் (UNDP) நிலையான நகர்ப்புற பிளாஸ்டிக் கழிவு மேலாண்மை பற்றிய கையேட்டை” அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார்.

• Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change released the “Vision Plan: 2021-2031” for Indian zoos. This plan was released during a two-day National Conference for zoo directors & veterinarians in Gujarat. The two-day conference was organized by Central Zoo Authority and was hosted by Sardar Patel Zoological Park, Kevadia in Gujarat.

• Former higher education secretary, Amit Khare, was appointed as advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 12, 2021.

• India retains 3rd rank (behind China and US) in the Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index released by consultancy firm EY
• EY ஆலோசனை நிறுவனத்தால் வெளியிடப்பட்ட புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி நாடு கவர்ச்சிகரமான குறியீட்டில் இந்தியா 3வது இடத்தை (சீனா மற்றும் அமெரிக்காவிற்குப் பின்) தக்க வைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

• The Indian Navy is set to take part in “Second Phase of multilateral maritime exercise” called “Exercise Malabar” along with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) and the United States Navy (USN). Malabar exercise is being conducted in the Bay of Bengal from 12 October to 15 October 2021. First phase of this exercise was conducted from August 26-29, 2021 in Philippines sea.

• ராயல் ஆஸ்திரேலிய கடற்படை (RAN), ஜப்பான் கடல்சார் தற்காப்புப் படை (JMSDF) மற்றும் யுனைடெட் ஸ்டேட்ஸ் நேவி (USN) ஆகியவற்றுடன் இணைந்து “இரண்டாம் கட்ட பலதரப்பு கடல்சார் பயிற்சியில்” இந்திய கடற்படை பங்கேற்க உள்ளது. 2021 அக்டோபர் 12 முதல் அக்டோபர் 15 வரை வங்காள விரிகுடாவில் மலபார் பயிற்சி நடத்தப்படுகிறது. இந்த பயிற்சியின் முதல் கட்டம் ஆகஸ்ட் 26, 29, 2021 முதல் பிலிப்பைன்ஸ் கடலில் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
• United Nations Biodiversity Summit started in China, on October 12, 2021.
• ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பல்லுயிர் உச்சி மாநாடு சீனாவில் அக்டோபர் 12, 2021 அன்று தொடங்கியது.

• Union Minister of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Giriraj Singh, launched the “Climate Resilience Information System and Planning (CRISP-M) tool” through a virtual event. The CRISP-M tool has been launched in order to integrate the climate information in the “Geographic Information System (GIS) based watershed planning” under the MGNREGA.

• மத்திய ஊரக வளர்ச்சித்துறை அமைச்சர் பஞ்சாயத்து ராஜ், கிரிராஜ் சிங், ஒரு மெய்நிகர் நிகழ்வின் மூலம் “காலநிலை பின்னடைவு தகவல் அமைப்பு மற்றும் திட்டமிடல் (CRISP M) கருவியை” தொடங்கினார். MGNREGA இன் கீழ் “புவியியல் தகவல் அமைப்பு (GIS) அடிப்படையிலான நீர்நிலை திட்டமிடலில்” காலநிலை தகவலை ஒருங்கிணைக்கும் பொருட்டு CRISP M கருவி தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• India and the United States are set to start a 15-day mega military exercise in Alaska from October 15, 2021 in a bid to further deepen bilateral military cooperation between both the countries. Year 2021 will mark the 17th edition of the exercise “Yudh Abhyas”. Exercise will be conducted at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson in Alaska. It will commence from October 15 and end on 29. The previous (16^th) edition of the exercise took place in February 2021 in Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Bikaner.

• இரு நாடுகளுக்கும் இடையிலான இருதரப்பு இராணுவ ஒத்துழைப்பை மேலும் ஆழப்படுத்தும் முயற்சியில் இந்தியாவும் அமெரிக்காவும் அக்டோபர் 15, 2021 முதல் அலாஸ்காவில் 15 நாள் மெகா இராணுவப் பயிற்சியைத் தொடங்க உள்ளன. அலாஸ்காவில் உள்ள எல்மெண்டோர்ஃப் ரிச்சர்ட்சன் என்ற கூட்டுத் தளத்தில் உடற்பயிற்சி நடத்தப்படும். இது அக்டோபர் 15 ஆம் தேதி தொடங்கி 29 ஆம் தேதி முடிவடையும். பயிற்சியின் முந்தைய (16வது) பதிப்பு பிப்ரவரி 2021 இல் பிகானேரில் உள்ள மகாஜன் ஃபீல்ட் ஃபயர் ரேஞ்சில் நடந்தது.

• The Department of Biotechnology launched a ‘One Health’ consortium on October 14, 2021 in virtual mode. It was launched by secretary of Department of Biotechnology, Dr Renu Swarup. One Health Consortium has been empowered to carry out surveillance of important viral, bacterial, & parasitic infections of zoonotic and transboundary pathogens in India.

• பயோடெக்னாலஜி துறை, அக்டோபர் 14, 2021 அன்று மெய்நிகர் பயன்முறையில் ‘ஒன் ஹெல்த்’ கூட்டமைப்பை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. இதை பயோடெக்னாலஜி துறை செயலாளர் டாக்டர் ரேணு ஸ்வரூப் தொடங்கி வைத்தார் இந்தியாவில் முக்கியமான வைரஸ், பாக்டீரியா, ஜூனோடிக் மற்றும் எல்லை தாண்டிய நோய்க்கிருமிகளின் ஒட்டுண்ணி தொற்றுகள் போன்றவற்றின் கண்காணிப்பை மேற்கொள்ள ஒரு சுகாதார கூட்டமைப்புக்கு அதிகாரம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• Minister of State of Ministry of Communication, Devusinh Chauhan, launched a Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI Scheme) for Telecom & Networking Products on October 14, 2021. PLI Scheme in telecom sector was launched for realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. This scheme would help in reducing dependence of India on other countries for importing telecom and networking products . Support under the Scheme will be provided for a period of five years (from FY 2021-22 to FY 2025-26).
• தொலைத்தொடர்பு அமைச்சகத்தின் இணை அமைச்சர் தேவுசின் சவுகான், தொலைத்தொடர்புக்கான உற்பத்தி இணைக்கப்பட்ட ஊக்கத் திட்டத்தை (பிஎல்ஐ திட்டம்) தொடங்கினார். ஆத்ம நிர்பார் பாரத் என்ற பிரதமரின் தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையை நனவாக்க தொலைத்தொடர்பு துறையில் பிஎல்ஐ திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. தொலைத்தொடர்பு மற்றும் நெட்வொர்க்கிங் தயாரிப்புகளை இறக்குமதி செய்வதற்கு மற்ற நாடுகளை இந்தியா சார்ந்திருப்பதை குறைக்க இந்த திட்டம் உதவும். இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கு (FY 2021 22 முதல் FY 2025 26 வரை) ஆதரவு வழங்கப்படும்.

• Global Hunger Index 2021, India has been placed to 101^st position out of 116 countries. In 2020, India’s was positioned at 94^th.
• Global Hunger Index 2021, இந்தியா 116 நாடுகளில் 101 வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. 2020ல் இந்தியா 94வது இடத்தில் இருந்தது.

• Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) seminar on ‘Role of Women in Armed Forces’ was organised on October 14 The webinar was addressed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. This seminar was hosted by India, highlighting the role of India’s women military officers in UN peacekeeping missions at global level.

• ஷாங்காய் ஒத்துழைப்பு அமைப்பு (SCO) ‘ஆயுதப் படைகளில் பெண்களின் பங்கு’ என்ற தலைப்பில் கருத்தரங்கு அக்டோபர் 14 அன்று ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது, இதில் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் உரையாற்றினார். உலக அளவில் ஐ.நா. அமைதி காக்கும் பணிகளில் இந்தியாவின் பெண் ராணுவ அதிகாரிகளின் பங்கை எடுத்துரைக்கும் இந்த கருத்தரங்கு இந்தியாவால் நடத்தப்பட்டது.

• Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Prerna Sthal was inaugurated on October 15, 2021 at Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam. Prerna Sthal was inaugurated to commemorate 90^th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam as well as to commemorate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
• டாக்டர் ஏபிஜே அப்துல் கலாம் பிரேர்னா ஸ்தல் அக்டோபர் 15, 2021 அன்று விசாகப்பட்டினம் கடற்படை அறிவியலில் திறக்கப்பட்டது. பாரத ரத்னா டாக்டர் ஏ.பி.ஜே. அப்துல் கலாமின் 90வது பிறந்தநாளை நினைவுகூரும் வகையில், ‘ஆசாதி கா அம்ரித் மஹோத்சவ்’ நினைவாக பிரேர்னா ஸ்தல் திறக்கப்பட்டது.
• The state government of Rajasthan has launched a campaign named ‘Prashasan Gaon ke Sang’. It aims to enable access to 22 departments of the local administration for the people of remote villages in the state
• இராஜஸ்தான் மாநில அரசு ‘பிரசாசன் காவ் கக சங்’ என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு முன்பனடுப்பைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. அம்மாநிலத்திலுள்ள தொலைதூர கிராம மக்களுக்காக இத்திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.இதன்மூலம் உள்ளூர் நிர்வாகத்தின் 22 துறைகளை அவர்கள் எளிமையாக அணுக முடியும்.
• Manipur organises the UNESCO–recognised Festival of Dance and Music ‘Nata Sankirtana’. This year, the 3–Day Festival was inaugurated recently from the capital Imphal.

• National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) announced that Chacha Chaudhary, the popular comic book character, has been declared as a mascot of Namami Gange Programme.
• நமாமி கங்கை திட்டத்தின் சின்னமாக பிரபல காமிக் புத்தக கதாபாத்திரமான சாச்சா சவுத்ரி அறிவிக்கப்பட்டதாக தேசிய தூய்மை கங்கை இயக்கம் (NMCG) அறிவித்துள்ளது.
• The Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi has inaugurated the “Azadi@75 – New Urban India” – an urban conclave cum expo at Lucknow

• The PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (MITRA) was announced in the Union Budget 2021–22 for growth of the textile sector and place India as a global leader in Textiles
• ஜவுளித் துறையின் வளர்ச்சிக்காகவும், ஜவுளித் துறையில் இந்தியாவை உலகத் தலைவராக்குவதற்காகவும் 2021–22 மத்திய பட்ஜெட்டில் PM மெகா ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஜவுளிப் பகுதி மற்றும் ஆடைகள் (MITRA) அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
• Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal recently launched a port mobile application called ‘MyPortApp’ in Kolkata.
• மத்திய துறைமுகங்கள், கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் நீர்வழிகள் துறை அமைச்சர் சர்பானந்தா சோனோவால் சமீபத்தில் கொல்கத்தாவில் ‘MyPortApp’ என்ற போர்ட் மொபைல் செயலியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார்.
• Punjab National Bank, the country’s second largest Public Sector Bank, has launched a “6S Campaign” including different schemes such as – Swabhiman, Samruddhi, Sampark and Shikhar, Sankalp and Swagat

• The state government announced Kalaignar M Karunanidhi Semmozhi Tamil awards presented by the Central Institute of Classical Tamil Research. It is presented for the years 2010 to 2019.
• மத்திய செம்மொழித் தமிழாராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் வழங்கும் கலைஞர்  மு  கருணாநிதி செம்மொழி தமிழ் விருதுகளை மாநில அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது. இது 2010 முதல் 2019 வரை வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• Semmozhi award given to Professor VS Rajam  – 2010.  Professor Pon Kothandaraman  – 2011.  Professor E Sundaramoorthy and Professor P Marudhanayagam for 2012 and 2013 . • The State-level Disha Committee headed by Chief Minister MK Stalin will be monitoring the implementation of Centrally-sponsored schemes. The schemes are such as Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana etc. Rural Development Minister KR Periyakaruppan will be the co-chairperson of the committee.
• முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தலைமையிலான மாநில அளவிலான திஷா கமிட்டி, மத்திய அரசு வழங்கும் திட்டங்களைச் செயல்படுத்துவதைக் கண்காணிக்கும். மகாத்மா காந்தி தேசிய ஊரக வேலை உறுதித் திட்டம், தீன் தயாள் அந்த்யோதயா யோஜனா, தேசிய ஊரக வாழ்வாதாரத் திட்டம், பிரதான் மந்திரி கிராம் சதக் யோஜனா போன்ற திட்டங்கள் ஆகும். இந்தக் குழுவின் இணைத் தலைவராக ஊரக வளர்ச்சித் துறை அமைச்சர் கே.ஆர்.பெரியகருப்பன் இருப்பார்.

• Chief minister M K Stalin relaunched the ‘Varumun Kappom’ (preventive healthcare) scheme as ‘Kalaignarin Varumun Kappom’ at a function at Vazhapadi. The Varumun Kappom scheme was first launched by former chief minister M Karunanidhi in 2006. The scheme would be linked to ‘Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam
• வாழப்பாடியில் நடந்த விழாவில் முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின், ‘வருமுன் காப்போம்’ (தடுப்பு சுகாதாரம்) திட்டத்தை ‘கலைஞரின் வருமுன் காப்போம்’ என மீண்டும் துவக்கி வைத்தார். வருமுன் காப்போம் திட்டம் 2006 ஆம் ஆண்டு முன்னாள் முதல்வர் கருணாநிதியால் முதன்முதலில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இந்தத் திட்டம் ‘மக்களை தேடி மருத்துவம்’ உடன் இணைக்கப்படும்
• Tamil Nadu government appointed the members for SC/ST Commission. Chief Minister MK Stalin said that High Court Judge Sivakumar will be the Chairperson of the Commission. The period of the members of the SC/ST commission will be three years.
• SC/ST கமிஷனுக்கான உறுப்பினர்களை தமிழக அரசு நியமித்தது. ஆணையத்தின் தலைவராக உயர்நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதி சிவக்குமார் இருப்பார் என்று மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தெரிவித்தார். SC/ST கமிஷன் உறுப்பினர்களின் காலம் மூன்று ஆண்டுகள்.
• The Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA) has developed a portal, ‘emunnetram’. It contains key details of projects such as agreement dates, start dates, cost estimates, project progress on both financial and physical parameters on a monthly basis, location data & GIS layers and photographs of the site on a periodic basis.
• தமிழ்நாடு மின்னாளுமை நிறுவனமானது ‘ இ – முன்னேற்றம் ‘என்ற ஒரு தளத்தினை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது . இந்த வலைத்தளமானது ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட கால அளவில் ஒப்பந்த தேதி ,தொடக்க தேதி , செலவு மதிப்பீடு , மாதாந்திர அடிப்படையில் நிதி மற்றும் கட்டமைப்பு பரிமாணங்களில் திட்டப்பணிகள் முன்னேற்றம் , இடத்தினை குறித்த தகவல் மற்றும் அந்த இடத்தின் புவிசார் தகவல் அமைப்பு நிலைகள் மற்றும் புகைப்படங்கள் ஆகியவற்றை கொண்டிருக்கும்
• The TNeGA has conceptualised an interacting platform called ‘IT Nanban’. It is to engage with the IT industry and enable all IT/ITES companies in Tamil Nadu to interact with the State government over policy making
• TNeGA ஆனது ‘IT Nanban’ என்ற ஊடாடும் தளத்தை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது. இது தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையில் ஈடுபடுவதோடு, தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து ஐடி/ஐடிஇஎஸ் நிறுவனங்களும் கொள்கை உருவாக்கம் தொடர்பாக மாநில அரசுடன் தொடர்புகொள்வதற்கு உதவுகிறது.
